Been playing about with Xirallic blue pigments suspended in a clear intercoat over straight black ground coat (ral9005 for ease of replication) . I found that adding metallic pigments to the black washed it out and made it look brown which isnt what we wanted. So this is one coat, then two coats then four. As the coats get heavier it starts to blue out the test panel even in the shade. The first two keep their black appearance but when a 6k light is applied they certainly pop and shimmer . The owner of the Bandit is really happy with the single coat over the gloss black, you can still see the black in the background through the blue xirallic. Looks a bit like the cosmos and has a effect similar to the iridium Oakley's he has, think I'll call this one Cosmos Blue Just got to put paint to panel and this should look awesome
